Panasonic India encourages millennials to live their dreams in new digital campaign

Panasonic India has launched a digital campaign targeted at millennials which urges them to escape mundane office life and head off for adventures in far flung destinations.

The campaign, LiveYourDreams, is the work of New Delhi-based marketing agency Sociowash and will conclude with six people being sent on a four day trip to their dream locations.

Participants must register through the campaign portal, and will earn points through activities on social media.

The top 25 will then join forces with Panasonic Smart Phones and get individual Facebook Events pages. The final six will be selected based on the quality of the content they share and levels of engagement.

Panasonic India mobility division boss Pankaj Rana said, “While we work hard in our lives, we miss out on small bits of happiness. The campaign #LiveTourDreams will help the youth to unleash themselves from mundane work life and live their travel dreams with a lifetime experience of their dream destination.

“This campaign is specifically targeted towards the millennials….and has already started getting some good responses from the youth.”

Tejender Sharma, who directed the campaign video for Gibbous Films, said: “I have seen that almost everyone has a dream but they don’t pursue it. This is a tale on those few who never give up. I believe this will inspire others to do the same.”

Raghav Bagai, who co-founded Sociowash in January 2015, added: “Working with Panasonic was the most exciting and learning experience for us. The brand has a lot to offer. We are confident that the campaign will rouse enthusiasm among the youth.”
