72andSunny’s first campaign for Adidas in China celebrates individuality amidst a sea of conformity.

Called One in a Billion, the campaign is the first since 72andSunny won the global account for Adidas’ sports business in 2015.

The 60-second spot urges a new generation of athletes to unleash their creativity across China, with the ad kicking off with a shot of massed basketball players performing synchronised drills. Then one man breaks the mould and does his own thing.

adidas“Among a billion in China, there is only one you,” says the commercial’s blurb. “Your creativity is what sets you apart in sport and in life.”

72andSunny has offices in LA, New York and Amsterdam.
