DigitasLBi bolsters Singapore team following Hewlett Packard Enterprises account win
DigitasLBi has expanded its media team in Singapore following the winning of the global HP Enterprises account earlier this year.
Ben McAneny joins as business director for APAC, with responsibility for DigitasLBi’s media clients, including HP Enterprises. He joins from the UK, where he spent 10 years working in agencies such as Advertising Club and Greenlight Digital. McAneny will report into Charlie Newbery, head of media for APAC.
Joining as director of analytics for APAC is Reevi Rajan, who brings with him 13 years of experience in analytics and media strategy. Reevi will also be working extensively on the HP Enterprises account across the region and will report into Oliver Spalding, head of CRM for APAC.
Meanwhile, Alvin Kirk joins as senior media manager where he will be leading the media planning and buying on the HP Enterprises account. Kirk started his career at Starcom Media, where he spent six years working as an integrated planner before joining the trading desk at Audience on Demand. He will also report into Newbery.
Additionally, Vinay Devarapalli has joined DigitasLBi from Yahoo! as a senior media planner. Vinay will lead the operational side of HP Enterprises, along with EJ Segovia who came from Dentsu Singapore, where he worked as a digital strategic planner.
“Increasingly our clients are looking for complex media solutions including programmatic,” said Newbery. “Having bolstered our team with these guys, I feel confident we can offer our clients a well rounded solution to solve their real business needs.”
Ive met more and more people like this in agencies nowadays…when you use the word ‘idea’ in a conversation with them, their eyes glaze over. Worrying.
