JCDecaux rolls out first digital contextual ads with destination information at Changi Airport

Outdoor ad firm JCDecaux has rolled out its first contextual digital campaign with displays at Singapore’s Changi Airport showing the weather and time in international destinations.

The campaign, called Wanderlust, features 70-inch digital screens which welcome passengers at the airport’s Terminal 3.

The screens, powered by JCDecaux’s SmartContent platform, are activated two hours ahead of departures to 13 cities, including London, Sydney, Hong Kong, New York, Paris and Jakarta.

In addition to time and weather, the screens contain trivia about each city.

The firm’s Singapore managing director Evlyn Yang said the technology’s dynamic messaging contextual relevance will provide advertisers with “higher efficacy”.

“Wanderlust is the beginning of an exciting new era in creative digital advertising that enables clients to reach and engage with their audiences in new ways,” she said.
