Publicis Commerce launches across Asia in partnership with Interactive Solutions

ken_mandelPublicis Media Asia-Pacific has launched Publicis Commerce across Asia in partnership with Interactive Solutions.

The new operation will combine Publicis Media’s media buying, planning and analytic capabilities with Interactive Solutions’ experience optimising brand assets within over 200 e-retailers worldwide.

The new capability will be headed up by Ken Mandel, president of innovation and commerce at Publicis Media Asia-Pacific. He will be responsible for building and leading the new business around commerce and innovation and will report into Gerry Boyle, CEO of Publicis Media Asia-Pacific. Mandel was previously Starcom’s president of global network solutions Asia-Pacific.

“eRetailers are the publishers of the future and given how much time consumers spend on these sites they will play an increasingly influential role as marketing and commerce continues to blend into a seamless consumer experience,” said Mandel.

Bringing media and commerce together, Publicis Commerce aims to offer clients a service that blends demand generation and eMerchandising services.

“We may start to see a shift from what we have traditionally considered to be ‘media dollars’ towards ‘commerce dollars’, as advertisers continue to search for a more direct and measurable relationship between their marketing and sales efforts,” added Boyle.

Interactive Solutions is based in Poland and is the digital and eCommerce centre of excellence for Publicis Communications.
