Dentsu Singapore appoints Christina Lim as managing director
Christina Lim has taken up a new role as managing director at Dentsu Singapore, after having left her position as NTUC Fairprice director of brand and marketing.
Her appointment is effective 15 May 2017 and will see her reporting to Rosalynn Tay, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Singapore.
Prior to Lim’s appointment, Tay, was overseeing both the CEO role and that of the MD since her appointment in 2015.
Prior to her new role, Lim spent 10 years at NTUC Fairprice. She also spent 18 years in the advertising industry, where she also took on senior positions in Publicis Singapore, TBWA Singapore and EURO RSCG Singapore (now known as Havas Worldwide Singapore) and has worked on blue-chip clients such as Hewlett Packard, AVIVA, Western Union and Dell.
Tay said: “As Dentsu Singapore continues to scale exponentially, Lim’s appointment is a timely arrival of talent and I couldn’t be more pleased of her addition to our leadership bench. She has proven herself an innovative mind with an in-depth understanding of consumer-brand dynamics within the Singporean landscape – qualities integral to driving the business that is Dentsu Singapore.”
“Dentsu Singapore has woven itself into the fabric of the Singaporean advertising landscape –especially in the recent years, and I’m excited to be part of a business that is both forward thinking and transformational. I look forward to building new insights to spark interaction between the brand and its clients as we find meaningful connections and beneficial business solutions,” said Lim.
Capable lady. Strong leader. Expect rapid new business wins.
ReplyChristina is charming and savvy with adroit marketing skills. She’s also lots of fun and a pleasure to work with. Dentsu made a great choice!
ReplyRather visionary (or shortsighted) of the CEO to hire someone so brilliant….let us see.
ReplyDiversity isn’t about just putting women in.
ReplyIt’s about putting capable and proven women in who can get the job done right.
Then getting out of the way for her to shine.
Dentsu has finally made a good hire.
I bet Tay didnt write the words in her quote….shes doesn’t talk like that.
ReplyChristina, however, does.
