OMD Hong Kong wins Carousell media account

OMD Hong Kong has won the media account for online secondhand retailer Carousell. The remit includes media planning and buying across platforms with a focus on performance marketing.

The contract is effective immediately and will run for a maximum of two years. OMD’s first task will be to increase brand awareness, app usage and downloads for online classifieds start-up.

OMD Hong Kong chief executive Deric Wong: said, “We are honoured to be chosen as Carousell’s media agency partner in Hong Kong. Carousell is a rapidly growing startup with a vision to build a global marketplace, and create a positive impact on users in Hong Kong.”

The company recently appointed 8 Mad as the branding and integrated marketing agency in Malaysia.
