Leo Burnett veteran Jeff Ho handed MD role in Hong Kong

Leo Burnett veteran Jeff Ho has been named managing director of the agency’s Hong Kong office following the departure of chief executive Alex Lee for personal reasons.

Ho, who has been with Leo Burnett for more than 20 years, will report to Publicis Communications Greater China chief executive Michael Lee.

He had stints in Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo and Guangzhou – where he was MD from 2007 to 2014 – before returning to Hong Kong to take the role of regional director for international business.

Lee described Ho as an “experienced marketing veteran, with a proven track record in the network”.

“There is no person who understands the ups and downs of Leo Burnett Hong Kong better, and no person could be more suitable for this position and more dedicated to the mission of leading Leo Burnett Hong Kong into a new golden era,” he said.

Alex Lee departed Leo Burnett in February. No replacement is being sought for the CEO role.
