Dr Mumbo

Singapore Airlines asks flyers to ‘touch the woman’ to prove they’re not robots

There’s never a more enjoyable moment for Dr Mumbo as when a prized national brand uses unintended innuendo.

So it was with much sniggering that Dr Mumbo came across the wifi loading page for Singapore Airlines, which invites its users to get just a little too touchy-feely.

Dr Mumbo understands that the unexpected call-to-action is to prove you are in fact a living human being and not some internet spyware robot. Fair enough.

Perhaps not the most ideal suggestion for flyers though: Dr Mumbo doubts Singapore Airlines wants to emulate Irish budget carrier Ryanair and encourage that kind of behaviour.
