Balingit spent the past four year at Possible as its digital media director, working for brands such as Dow Chemical company, De Beers and the P&G media Business in Asia-Pacific.

His move follows WPP’s decision to globally consolidate Possible into Wunderman, allegedly to create a worldwide ‘digital powerhouse’.

In his new role, he will report to Charlie Newbery, head of media for APAC, and Annette Male, chief executive officer APAC.

He said: “I am passionate about data and the stories they tell. I look forward to pushing this further for the benefit of our clients.”

In addition to Balingit, Digitas LBi has also appointed Joshua Lee as a new client partner. He has joined the agency from Spark44 where he managed the Jaguar and LandRover business across multiple Asian markets.

Prior to that Joshua worked at TBWA/Digital Arts Network in Singapore, Vietnam and Melbourne,

He said: “It’s exciting to be a part of the hungry and talented team at DigitasLBi, and I look forward to making best use of their strong data, strategic and creative capabilities to further help our clients use all of these in driving their marketing efforts forward.”
