Edelman opens fourth China office in Shenzhen

Edelman China has opened a new office in Shenzhen, making it the agency’s fourth in China.

The office will serve clients such as Tencent Social Ads and Vivo mobile phone, with a focus on helping Chinese brands reach international markets.

We are now well poised to match our core China, Hong Kong and global capabilities with the pillar industries in Shenzhen – hi-tech, culture and creativity, modern logistics and financial services. ” said Jesse Lin, Edelman APAC CEO. “Our best resources will be available to clients for their growth and helping them to shine on the global stage.” Lin added.

The opening of the Shenzhen office rides on China’s national initiative known as The Greater Bay Area Plan, at the Pearl River Delta covering Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and another 7 cities in Guangdong province. The objective is to become a global hub of innovation, finance, shipping and trade, playing to the strengths of the provinces we have a presence in while maximising synergistic effect.
