BBDO Taiwan wins multi-agency pitch for ‘top three’ telco

One of the top three telcos in Taiwan, Far EasTone, has appointed BBDO as its creative agency following a multi-agency pitch. At the same time, Starcom was also appointed as the firm’s media agency.

Far EasTone has more than seven million customers in Taiwan, having been established as a company back in 1997.

The pitch is the first the company has ever held. It lasted for three months, with four agencies going up against each other across two rounds.

“We felt that BBDO laid out a clear future brand strategy that ties with the creative ideas for Far EasTone’s next chapter,” said Far EasTone director of public relations and brand management Oliver Tsai.
