DDB Hong Kong celebrates ‘Everyday Heroes’ in regional campaign for FWD

DDB Group Hong Kong has created a new campaign called ‘Everyday Heroes’ for insurance firm FWD.

The campaign was made in collaboration with network agencies from around the region. It depicts scenarios where confidence makes a difference, irrespective of age or life stage.

These scenarios were arrived at after rigorous research across countries the brand is present in. The campaign centrepiece is produced by Media Monks, set to the song ‘Heroes’ by Alesso and will feature situations that vary from market to market.

Speaking about the campaign, FWD’s group chief customer and marketing officer Tim Oliver said: “FWD has always celebrated living.

“In the Everyday Heroes campaign, we take time to show that moment of tension that we all experience before making big decisions, before ultimately reminding our audience that no matter what decision they make, our products have them covered.”

DDB Group Hong Kong’s chief strategy officer Andreas Krasser added: “As an agency, what makes this campaign so satisfying is the fact that, while our insights were derived locally, our executions have both humanity and a universal appeal.

“To us, that’s a sign that we’ve done our job as creative storytellers – a sign that has been borne out by research so far. We can’t wait for this to go to market.”

The campaign will launch in Hong Kong across TV, digital and OOH and be followed by launches in Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
