W+K Tokyo encourages Korean women to ‘Choose Phenomenal’ in new spot for Nike

Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo has created a new Nike campaign for Korea called ‘Choose Phenomenal’.

The ad features everyday Korean female athletes juxtaposed with images of celebrities to make a point about women being empowered by their choices. The commercial has been launched to coincide with International Women’s Day.

The commercial shares some thematic similarities to the ‘Dream Crazier’ film for Nike from Wieden + Kennedy Portland, narrated by Serena Williams which has been generating a fair degree of buzz online and evoking comparison with a spot for Gillette from a month ago.
