Nas Daily tells Singaporeans Facebook’s algorithm rules are like ‘the law’
Travel vlogger Nas Daily had again been receiving mixed press this week in the run-up to his big ‘I’ve moved to Singapore’ launch event at the Botanic Gardens yesterday.
Dr Mumbo has no idea why. Mr Nas seems like a lovely chap.
At the happening yesterday, he even went to the trouble of explaining to the hundreds of fans in attendance why the Facebook algorithm rules were kind of like “the law” and so had to be followed as such.
It’s this sort of marketing insight that has made Dr M an immediate ND devotee.
Not only that. The Arab-Israeli Harvard graduate Nuseir Yassin (to use his real name) even allowed audience participation.
What a guy. And so accomplished at the tender age of 27. He will surely be accepted into Singaporean society in no time at all.
Ok lah.
Think it is very obvious who is behind this. Leading up to elections, we need a new hero on social media. The leaders that be, have been going overdrive with their digital agenda. If you’re not seeing this for what it is, you’re obviously a S.T. reading believer. Nas is just another megaphone for our [Edited under Mumbrella’s community guidelines] friends. Otherwise, you think he’d get a permit to do anything in Botanical Gardens with a stage backdrop and no logo. Watch this space people. This shill is [Edited under Mumbrella’s community guidelines]. So of course locals are irritated. Have you ever seen any foreigner get so much coverage so easily across all [Edited under Mumbrella’s community guidelines] channels? Even Dr. Mumbro will soon see the invisible threads pulling this [Edited under Mumbrella’s community guidelines].

ReplyThis is as close as you can get to an in-house 2nd party endorsement. [Edited under Mumbrella’s community guidelines] a guy like Nuseir with massive reach thanks to SG ad buying that I am sure he had some “help” with, let him tell the plebs how great it is here in Singapore. And compared to the occupied Gaza Strip I suppose it is great. Well, after that, let’s have him kick off campaign after campaign of [Edited under Mumbrella’s community guidelines] approved “Content” by the week. I don’t think we will be seeing him at any Speaker’s Corner rally anytime soon. Sure not the one with the Pink Dot. This will be painful to watch, but with our own captive audience in Singapore, we only have S.T. and old Nuseir here to get our local orders from. Whatever it is, the plebs take it like spoon fed children. We are being bought and we don’t even know it. This guy is the first of many to come. We can’t let Facebook turn the population against a [Edited under Mumbrella’s community guidelines] can we:)
