Telecom industry squabbles continue with Zero SG’s ‘open letter’ to Circles.Life
Singapore-based mobile service operator Zero SG took a swipe at its competitor Circles.Life via an ‘open letter’ published on its website.
This was in response to a similar letter from Circles.Life that appeared in major print publications earlier this week, titled ‘to our telco friends in red and green’ which took aim at Singtel and Starhub, without actually naming the brands.
Zero SG went a step further and named Circles.Life. Its letter discussed the minutiae of why Circles.Life’s claims apparently do not stand up to scrutiny and accused the telco of being “preoccupied with alternative facts”.
The letter also highlighted the fact that Circles.Life’s disgruntled customers were posting on its social media platforms, demanding better service; a strange choice of attack considering the fact that no telecom company, including Zero SG, has been entirely immune to posts from irate consumers.
When asked by Mumbrella, Circles.Life said it had no comment to offer on the letter.
