Data science specialist ada pursues ‘agency of the future’ positioning with senior level appointments

Data science specialist ada has announced several senior-level appointments across Asia. Adrian Burton has been promoted to managing director for Malaysia. Burton had joined the agency in 2018 to build ada’s acquisitions unit. He was previously with Yonder Music where he was executive vice president. 

Faraz Khan who was formerly Burton’s deputy will take over as head of the regional acquisitions team. He has previously worked for agencies like Maxus and Mediacom. 

The firm’s country director for Malaysia and Singapore Mahesh Neelakantan has moved to the newly created role of head of regional agency partnerships. 

Summer Choo has been promoted to country director of Singapore. She was most recently client leadership director. She has previously worked for OMD and Universal McCann besides co-founding her own agency Screame.

Kirill Mankovski will join on July 1 as managing director of Indonesia. Mankovski moves from senior roles in one of ada’s major investors the Axiata group. He was most recently chief enterprise officer at PT.XL Axiata

Mayi Baviera has been officially designated country director of the Philippines. She has previously worked for Cheil Worldwide and Digital FCB Manila.
