iProspect India makes new hires to bolster martech offering

iProspect India has hired Abhishek Balsara as assistant vice president analytics and Vineet Sawant as director of technology to strengthen its martech offering.

Balsara moves from Network 18 media and investments where he was senior project manager. Sawant led product and tech at RazrCorp

The announcement:

iProspect India, a digital performance agency from the house of Dentsu Aegis Network, has roped in Abhishek Balsara and Vineet Sawant as AVP – Analytics and Director of Technology, respectively.

Based out of Mumbai, both Balsara and Sawant will report to Karan Jaitapkar, EVP – Technology, to strengthen the agency’s Martech division. It is pertinent to note here that iProspect’s Martech unit recently announced the launch of Solution Labs in a bid to provide marketing solutions driven by tech and data to its clients.   

Balsara, with more than 10 years of experience in Information Technology, has worked at numerous digital agencies and media companies. Prior to joining iProspect, Balsara was Senior Project Manager at Network 18 Media & Investments. He started his journey as a digital technologist at Experience Commerce where he worked on brands such as MRF Tyres, Live in Style, Adlabs and Arrow amongst others. For the record, his work on the app – Light A Diya, developed on Google Maps for, was showcased on Google Developers.

Commenting on his latest mandate, Balsara, AVP – Analytics, iProspect said, “At iProspect, I will be working on projects which are different from the work I have done before. I’m excited to start the next challenging phase of my career at the leading digital performance agency in the country. Sawant, who comes with more than eight years of experience in the field of IT, has worked at Zee Entertainment, Network18 and various other digital agencies. He has led many successful products, including the Jio 4G feature phones’ apps suit. Prior to joining iProspect, Sawant led Product & Tech at RazrCorp.

On joining iProspect, Sawant, Director – Technology said, “Real growth can be achieved only when one is out of his/her comfort zone. I hope to achieve that at iProspect as I look forward to opportunities and challenges thrown my way.”
