Iris Singapore hires senior leadership from BBDO, Wunderman and Santo

Iris Singapore has made several appointments to its leadership team in Singapore. These include Daniel Cullen as client services director – a board level position; John Marsden as business director and Elvin Villar as head of creative.
Cullen has previously had extensive experience in the region as general manager of Publicis Hong Kong, besides working for Ogilvy and MullenLowe Group. He moves from London where he was global business lead for Vodafone at Santo, a WPP agency.
Marsden moves from Wunderman UK where he was business director. He has previously worked for Havas, Jones Knowles Ritchie and had a two year stint at TBWA Shanghai.
Villar moves from BBDO Singapore where he was head of design. He has previously worked for J Walter Thompson and Eventscape.
Apart from the appointments there have been promotions from within the ranks at the agency with Prema Techinamurthi as business director, Jenson Lee promoted to head of design and Diego Barboza and Viraj Chouhan as creative group heads and Vanessa Tan, as senior creative.
The changes are on the back of winning business from Netflix, Sustenir and Rapid Rugby. Speaking about the appointments, Iris Singapore managing director Sorcha John said: “Getting the opportunity to hire talented, globally minded and entrepreneurial creative people is really a privilege.
