Golin wins PR mandate for Pure Group in Hong Kong

Fitness brand Pure Group has appointed Golin Hong Kong as its PR agency.

Golin’s mandate extends across Pure Group verticals like yoga, fitness, apparel and nutrition.

The announcement:

Asia’s leading 360 fitness and wellbeing brand, Pure Group has appointed Golin, an Interpublic Group agency, to lead and execute a public relations programme aimed at igniting attention and action amongst Hong Kong’s vibrant wellness scene. Golin will support Pure Group across its portfolio: Pure Yoga, Pure Fitness, Pure Apparel, nood food and Pure Nutrition.

Golin’s remit sees it supporting the business across media relations and influencer partnerships, creating and curating a rich drumbeat of stories while publicising community events and launches of new centres and services.

Gary Wise, Regional Marketing Director, Pure Group, commented: “Golin demonstrated a robust understanding of the health and wellness industry here in Hong Kong, and impressed us with their strategic mapping of our business. As we continue to grow, we need a partner that is able to elevate us, challenge the status quo and present fresh approaches that bolster our impact within the community.”

Lottie Longford, Associate Director, Consumer and Health & Wellness, Golin Hong Kong, says: “Globally, the wellbeing sector continues to evolve with dynamism, and Hong Kong is no exception. We are delighted to welcome Pure Group to our Health & Wellness team at Golin Hong Kong. Together, we are united in Pure’s vision of a happier, balanced 360˚ lifestyle, and we are honoured to have been chosen as the progressive communications partner to support the brand in being at the forefront of holistic health in Asia”.

Golin Hong Kong’s Health & Wellness team was launched earlier this year, and Pure Group joins a company portfolio including Danone, AIA and District Technologies, with services spanning digital and public relations across Hong Kong and Asia remits.
